Linux :: Server 32-bit or 64-bit
To check the kernel version
$ uname -a
Linux server_name
2.6.26-2-686 #1 SMP Fri Aug 14 01:27:18 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
- if it is *.686 then it is 32-bit
- if it is *.x86_64 then it is 64-bit
